Hello! I’m Livv Carter— the lens and heart behind Goth Girl Media. I’ve been capturing stories on my camera since high school, but raves stole my heart— not just for the music but for the happiness, the outfits, the lights and lasers. I love capturing the energy of everyone there, moments that make people glow, and turning them into stories that last forever.

I’ve shot events for the Grey Area, and for locations like the Knockdown Center, the Brooklyn Mirage, Superior Ingredients and more. In 2024 I had the pleasure of shooting Empire of the Sun- an unforgettable experience.

Living with Multiple Sclerosis has fueled my drive to pursue my passion, and chase every shot like it matters- because it does. Every frame is a piece of life I get to hold onto, and a chance to share the magic of the moment that can be felt long after the night ends.

My mission: To freeze the Joy, Energy, and Magic of the night- including all the PLUR moments- so you can feel it in every frame. <3
